## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 28, 2018, PILOT TOOK OFF FROM AUSTIN BERGSTROM ON 17L AT APPROXIMATELY 14:10 CST IN ROUTE TO FLY THE ILS TO 17L. AS THE AIRCRAFT TURNED TO INTERCEPT THE ILS THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BUZZARD. PIC NOTIFIED ATC AND LANDED ON 17L.

NO INJURIES WERE EXPERIENCED BY THE CREW OR THE SINGLE PASSENGER.

VISUAL INSPECTION REVEALED MINOR INPACT DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE, JUST OUTBOARD OF THE WING ATTACH AREA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
