## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 3/11/2018 AT DANBURY AIRPORT, THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) OF AIRCRAFT N469AF, REPORTED THAT A PIECE OF ASPHALT STRUCK THE PROPELLER DURING TAXI AFTER LANDING WITH NO FLUCTUATIONS IN ENGINE OR RPM SPEED. THE PIC PEFORMED A POST FLIGHT WALKAROUND INSPECTION AND NOTICED BLACK ASPHALT MATERIAL WITH YELLOW PAINT ALONG THE PROPELLER BLADES LEADING EDGE. SEVERAL BLADES WERE FOUND WITH LEADING EDGE NICKS AND ONE BLADE HAD DAMGE TO THE DEICING BOOT EXPOSING THE HEATING ELEMENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
