## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE LANDING AT THE CONCLUSION OF A MAINTENANCE TEST FLIGHT FOR A LEAKY LANDING GEAR PNEUMATIC SYSTEM, THE PILOT FAILED TO NOTICE THAT THE NOSE LANDING GEAR WAS NOT FULLY EXTENDED IN THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION.

AFTER THE FLARE, WHILE LOWERING THE NOSE, THE PILOT THEN NOTICED THE NOSE GEAR WAS NOT DOWN. THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE PILOT INITIATED THE GO AROUND.

THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO GET THE NOSE GEAR DOWN ATER THE GO AROUND AND LANDED WITH OUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
