## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THAT HE DID HIS NORMAL PRE-LANDING CHECKLIST FLOW AND CONDUCTED A GUMPS CHECK. THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER SAID THAT HE OBSERVED THIS. BOTH THE PILOT AND FRONT SEAT PASSENGER STATED THAT THE GEAR LEVER WAS IN THE DOWN POSITION DURING THE LANDING. THE REAR SEAT PASSENGER HEARD THE PILOT READ THROUGH THE GUMPS CHECK BUT WAS NOT IN A POSITION TO OBSERVE HIS ACTIONS. THE PILOT ALSO STATED THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO SEE THE GEAR LIGHTS BECAUSE OF GLARE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH THE LANDING GEAR UP.

ON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRCRAFT THE GEAR LEVER WAS FOUND IN THE DOWN POSITION.

ON RECOVERY OF THE AIRCRAFT THE LANDING GEAR WAS TESTED AND FOUND TO OPERATE PROPERLY, THOUGH THE GEAR HORN WAS FOUND TO BE INTERMITTENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
