## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT TOOK OFF FROM L-18 AIRPARK AND REMAINED IN THE PATTERN. THE PILOT DECIDED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT AND AFTER TOUCHDOWN, ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, A WIND GUST HIT THE AIRPLANE CAUSING THE PILOT TO BRAKED HARD TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AND CROSSED INTO THE TAXIWAY STRIKING THE PROPELLER A DIRT MOUND. AFTER THE PROP STRIKE THE PILOT CONTINUED TO TAXI TO THE TIE DOWN AREA. THE DAMAGED PROPELLER WAS REMOVED AND THE AIRCRAFT IS CURRENTLY STILL WITH THE MANITENANCE SHOP FOR AN ENGINE TEARDOWN AND INSPECTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
