## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 03/31/2018 AT 1017 MST, N54FF, A STANDARD CATEGORY PA-23-250 WAS ON TAKEOFF ROLL AT PVU. AT ROTATION SPEED, THE PILOT REPORTED HEARING A LOUD BANG, SAW SOMETHING FLY UP FROM THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT, FOLLOWED BY SKIDDING ALONG THE RUNWAY ON THE NOSE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST FURTHER DOWN RUNWAY 13 AT TAXIWAY A2. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND BOTH PROPELLERS STRUCK THE GROUND. PARTS OF THE RIGHT PROPELLER SEPARATED, ENTERED THE BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT AND EXITED THROUGH THE TOP OF THE NOSE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
