## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 04/02/2018 N9155X WAS FLOWN FROM KAPF TO KOBE BY HIS OWNER AND PILOT. HE WAS GOING TO PERFORM SOME PRACTICE LANDINGS AND THEN HAVE LUNCH. FIRST TWO LANDINGS WERE NORMAL AND THE THIRD IS WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED.

THIS OFFICE INVESTIGATION DID NOT REVEALED ANY MECHANICAL ISSUES WITH THE LANDING GEAR MECHANISM.

THE LANDING WAS NOT OBSERVED BY ANY GROUND PERSONNEL.

THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THERE WERE ANY TIRE MARKINGS ON THE PAVEMENT. POSSIBLE INDICATION OF THE LANDING GEAR BEING RETRACTED RIGHT BEFORE IMPACT.

THE AIRPLANE LANDED WITH ITS LANDING GEAR RETRACTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
