N130UE, BEECHCRAFT 1900C, SERIAL NUMBER UC-130 OPERATED BY SUBURBAN AIR FREIGHT JDWA157F DEPARTED HARTSFIELD - JACKSON ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (ATL) ON APRIL 17, 2018 AT 0650 CDT. THE PILOT STATES BETWEEN 10,000-12,000 FEET AGL WHILE ON APPROACH, APPROXIMATELY 25 MILES NORTH OF JACKSONVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JAX), THE LEFT ENGINE ROLLED BACK TO PARTIAL POWER. AS A PRECAUTION, THE PILOT FEATHERED THE PROPELLER, SHUT DOWN THE LEFT ENGINE, AND ADVISED AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL. THE PILOT STATES THAT HE DID NOT DECLARE AN EMERGENCY. ATC ASKED IF ASSISTANCE WAS NEEDED AND THE PILOT DECLINED ASSISTANCE. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT AT 0803 CDT AT JAX WITH NO AIRCRAFT DAMAGE OR INJURIES.

SUBURBAN AIR FREIGHT MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL CONDUCTED TROUBLESHOOTING ON THE LEFT ENGINE AND FOUND THAT THE ENGINE WOULD NOT PRODUCE POWER PAST IDLE. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
