## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON RUNWAY 18 APPROXIMATELY 500 FT PAST THE THRESHOLD. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE PREVAILING WINDS WERE FROM THE SOUTH-SOUTHWEST AT 6-7 KNOTS, AND THAT HE DID NOT FEEL THE NEED TO USE AILERON OR RUDDER CORRECTION DURING THE APPROACH, LANDING, OR ROLLOUT. SEVERAL SECONDS AFTER TOUCHDOWN, THE PILOT REPORTED FEELING A STRONG WIND GUST FROM THE RIGHT. THE RIGHT WING LIFTED UP, AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND ENTERED THE GRASS OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND, RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER BLADES. THE PILOT SUBSEQUENTLY REGAINED CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND RETURNED TO THE PAVED SURFACE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
