## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 6, 2018 AT 2230 AT SIOUX FALLS, SD AIRPORT (KFSD) THE PILOT STARTED TO TAXI BEECH 1900C, TAIL # N172GA WHEN THE RIGHT MLG COLLAPSED. HE HAD TAXIED ABOUT 6 INCHES, GOT A GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT, AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE MLG COLLAPSED. SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE RIGHT MLG UPPER DRAG BRACE BOLT SHEARED AND MIGRATED OUT OF ITS FITTING CAUSING THE MLG TO COLLAPSE. THE MLG CONTACTED THE FORWARD FLANGE OF THE LOWER REAR SPAR CAP CAUSING IT TO BEND UPWARD .090?. IT ALSO CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE BELLY POD, RIGHT PROPELLER, AND RIGHT ENGINE.
