## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

APRIL 30, 2018- A BEECHCRAFT BE-95 REGISTERED AS N550K S/N TC-2180 WHILE LANDING RUNWAY 5 AT NORTH LITTLE ROCK AT OR ABOUT 1600 LOCAL TIME MADE A HARD LANDING STRIKING RIGHT PROPELLER AND CAUSING DEFORMATION OF THE FUSELAGE TO THE POINT THAT THE MAIN CABIN DOOR OPENED. OPERATOR THEN TAXIED TO MAINTENANCE. OPERATOR CONTACTED NTSB MAY 01, 2018 TO REPORT A HARD LANDING. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT SHOWED THE RIGHT SIDE OF AIRFRAME WRINKLED ABOVE THE WING ATTACH POINTS, AND THE RIGHT PROPELLER HAD DAMAGE TO THE LAST 4-5 INCHES OF ALL BLADES, THE MAIN CABIN DOOR WOULD NOT COMPLETELY CLOSE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA18CA252](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA18CA252), Apr 30, 2018: Beech 95B55 (N550K), Little Rock, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s improper landing flare.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
