## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 5/25/2018 AT 1115 MST, THE STUDENT PILOT WAS TOUCHING DOWN ON RUNWAY 35 AT OGD WHEN THE LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT, N124BF, PORPOISED AND PITCHED THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT DOWN AT A STEEP ANGLE. THE NOSE LANDING GEAR OF THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE GROUND FIRST AND FOLDED BACK. THE MAINS CONTACTED THE GROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED ON THE NOSE FOR A SHORT DISTANCE. THERE WAS ONE PERSON ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
