## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON A RETURN FLIGHT KEDC TO KADS EXPERIENCED ENGINE ROUGHNESS AND CYLINDER TEMPERATURES WERE RISING ABOUT 9 MILES OUT FROM ADS. NOTIFIED ADDISON TOWER WHO GAVE RUNWAY PRIORITY. MAINTAINED HIGHER THAN NORMAL ALTITUDE IN CASE OF ENGINE FAILURE, RESULTING IN LANDING LONGER ON THE RUNWAY. ENTERING GROUND EFFECT WE HAD TOO MUCH SPEED AND WAITED FOR IT TO BLEED OFF. DUE TO TOO MUCH SPEED WE WENT INTO RUN OFF PAD.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
