## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS OFFICE RECIEVED POLICE INCIDENT REPORT STATING THAT ON 06/03/18 AT ELIZABETH FIELD (0B8), FISHER ISLAND, NY, AT APPROXIMATELY 1:30PM, A 1988 BEECHCRAFT F33A BONANZA ATTEMPTED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 12 AND TOUCHED DOWN WITH WHEELS IN THE UP POSITION CAUSING IT TO SLIDE ON ITS FUSELAGE FOR APPROXIMATELY 150 YARDS BEFORE COMING TO REST IN THE CENTER OF RUNWAY. AIRMAN WAS INTERVIEWED BY POLICE AND STATED THAT DURING HIS APPROACH HE WAS FOCUSED ON MANEUVERING THE PLANE AND FAILED TO ENGAGE THE LANDING GEAR. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT THE AIRCRAFT WAS OCCUPIED BY ONLY THE PILOT AND NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED.

INSPECTORS FROM THIS OFFICE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER BLADES, NOSE GEAR DOORS AND LEFT FLAPS NEAR THE FUSELAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
