## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N5762B WAS THE SECOND AIRCRAFT IN A FLIGHT OF THREE BIPLANES. THE FLIGHT WAS PARKED IN THE RUN-UP AREA ADJACENT TO THE TAXIWAY AT RUNWAY 28R, AWAITING TAKEOFF CLEARANCE FROM MONTGOMERY TOWER (MYF). CESSNA N786SA HAD TAXIED UP TO THE HOLD LINE, REMAINING ON THE TAXIWAY. THE POSITION OF N786SA WAS DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF N5762B. THE PIC OF N5762B DID NOT SEE THE CESSNA TAXI IN FRONT OF HIS AIRCRAFT. WHEN THE FLIGHT RECEIVED TAKEOFF CLEARANCE, THE PIC BEGAN TAXIING TO THE RUNWAY AND STRUCK THE RIGHT WING OF THE CESSNA WITH THE LEFT WING OF THE BIPLANE. THE CESSNA AILERON RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE BIPLANE RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE.
