As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 19 WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS. DURING ROLLOUT, AIRCRAFT DRIFTED RIGHT OF CENTERLINE IN RESPONSE TO LIGHT CROSSWIND FROM THE WEST. AIRMAN APPLIED LEFT BRAKE TO CORRECT AND APPLIED TOO MUCH BRAKE CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO GROUND LOOP TO LEFT. DAMAGE LIMITED TO THE UNDERSIDE OF LOWER LEFT WING TIP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA18CA332](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA18CA332), Jun 8, 2018: Waco YKS 7 (N17473), Fairhope, AL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control while landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
