## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THAT WHEN ATTEMPTING A TOUCH-AND-GO ON RUNWAY 25R HE BOUNCED THE AIRCRAFT AND AS HE TOUCHED DOWN THE SECOND TIME HE ADDED POWER, WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT THEN FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN AND CAME TO REST BETWEEN RUNWAY 25R AND TAXIWAY B.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA18CA338](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA18CA338), Jun 12, 2018: Luscombe 8 (N2094B), Phoenix, AZ, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s improper landing flare and subsequent failure to maintain directional control during landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
