## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 17, 2018 AT APPROXIMATELY 0945 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, A CESSNA T210F LANDED IN A FIELD DUE TO LOSS OF POWER. THE PLANE TOUCHED DOWN IN A SANDY FIELD WHICH CAUSED THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR AND NOSE WHEEL TO SEPARATE FROM THE FUSELAGE. THE AIRCRAFT SLID FOR APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET BEFORE THE NOSE OF THE PLANE DUG INTO THE SAND AND FLIPPED THE AIRCRAFT ONTO ITS BACK.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN18LA229](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN18LA229), Jun 17, 2018: Cessna T210F (N6107R), Desdemona, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: The total loss of engine power due to the fuel pump’s fuel flow setting being set too high, which resulted in an excessive fuel flow to the engine.

## Other reports on N6107R (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19890520012499I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19890520012499I), May 20, 1989: Cessna T210F (N6107R), Ogden, UT, Minor damage. Unable to get gear down safe light. Nose gear collapsed on rollout. Replaced nose gear actuator.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
