## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 19, 2018 N472MC A B747-400 BEDECK SPECIAL FREIGHTER (BDSF) OPERATED AS GTI 2134 FROM ANCHORAGE, ALASKA (ANC) TO CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (ORD). WHILE ON APPROACH TO RUNWAY 10C THE CREW RECEIVED A TRANSIENT CARGO FIRE INDICATION. WHEN THE CREW WAS CLOSER TO FINAL APPROACH, WITHIN FIVE (5) MILES, THE FIRE WARNING RE-APPEARED. THE CREW INFORMED TOWER OF THE POSSIBLE AIRCRAFT CONDITION AND ASKED FOR ARFF TO BE ON STANDBY. THE FIRE WARNING CONTINUED THROUGH LANDING AND ROLLOUT.

THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY ON TAXIWAY T, STOPPED, AND THE CREW EXECUTED THE EMERGENCY EVACUATION CHECKLIST. ONCE COMPLETE THE CREW EXITED THE AIRCRAFT VIA THE UPPER DECK R1 DOOR EMERGENCY SLIDE. THE CREWMEMBERS WERE NOT INJURED OR TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL FOLLOWING THE EVACUATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
