## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE LAKE AND ATTEMPTED TO RETRACT FLAPS WHILE TAXIING AT HIGH-SPEED (ON STEP). AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND CONTACTED THE BANK AT AN ANGLE WITH THE LEFT FLOAT WHICH DESTROYED AN AIRPORT LIGHT FIXTURE. THE RIGHT FLOAT IMPACTED THE BANK APPROXIMATELY 25 FEET BEYOND THE INITIAL CONTACT POINT. THE AIRCRAFT TIPPED TO THE RIGHT AND THE RIGHT WING TIP HIT THE BOTTOM OF THE LAKE THROUGH 8-10 INCHES OF WATER. AIRCRAFT CAME TO A REST AT A RIGHT-WING-DOWN ANGLE BUT REMAINED RIGHT-SIDE UP AT THE EDGE OF THE WATER. PILOT WAS ABLE TO SELF-EXTRACT.
