## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PARACHUTE JUMPER MADE A GOOD EXIT FROM THE AIRCRAFT AND HIS PARACHUTE DEPLOYED NORMALLY BUT AS HE APPROACHED THE GROUND HE MADE A HARD LEFT TURN. BEFORE HE COULD GET STABLE UNDER HIS CANOPY HE HIT THE GROUND. THE PARACHUTE WAS EXAMINED AFTER THE INCIDENT AND IT WAS FOUND TO IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION AND IT DID NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
