## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHEN ON A FLIGHT PLAN FROM TRK TO PVU, THE PILOT PERFORMED A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING AT LOL DUE TO AN ALTERNATOR LOW VOLTAGE INDICATION. WHEN THE LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED TO THE DOWN POSITION, THE PILOT NOTICED THAT THE NOSE GEAR GREEN LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT SWITCHED THE BULB AND EXECUTED AN EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION; HOWEVER, HE COULD NOT OBTAIN A SAFE NOSE GEAR INDICATION. THE LANDING WAS CONTINUED AND UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE NOSE GEAR FAILED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
