## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

RUNWAY 20 WINDS WERE OUT OF 210 AT 4 KTS. THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED A GUST OF WIND FROM HIS RIGHT THAT INTRODUCED AN IMMEDIATE RIGHT YAW (TAIL WHEEL AIRCRAFT). THE PILOT TRIED TO CORRECT BUT DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME. THE AIRCRAFT VEERED RIGHT OFF THE RUNWAY. THE RIGHT WING STRUCK OBJECTS ALONG THE RAILROAD TRACKS. OTHER DAMAGE SUSTAINED FROM GRAVEL IMBANKMENT AND POT HOLES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
