## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 06, 2018 AT 1250 CDT N2267M LANDED GEAR UP ON RUNWAY 04 AT JOLIET REGIONAL AIRPORT (KJOT) THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) DID NOT USE THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION HANDLE. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME AND PROPELLER.

THE PIC ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ REPORTED THAT N2267M ENCOUNTERED ELECTRICAL FAILURE WHILE EN-ROUTE TO KJOT. THE ELECTRICAL FAILURE PREVENTED HIM FROM EXTENDING THE GEAR USING THE ELECTRICAL GEAR PUMP. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CLAIMS HE USED THE EMERGENCY CHECKLIST AND IT STATED TO USE THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION HANDLE TO EXTEND THE GEAR, HOWEVER IT DID NOT TELL HIM WHERE THE HANDLE WAS LOCATED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THEN DECIDED TO LAND AT KJOT GEAR UP. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO HIM OR HIS PASSENGER. DURING THE INVESTIGATION OF THIS INCIDENT IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HAD 0 FLIGHT HOURS IN THE LAST 90 DAYS AND THAT HIS LAST FLIGHT REVIEW WAS IN 2010.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
