## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON LANDING APPROACH TO CCR FROM BNK AT APPROXIMATELY 2135 UPON TURNING INBOUND TO RUNWAY 19R PILOT OBSERVED HIGH INTENSITY APPROACH LIGHTS WERE ON HIGH. THE HIGH INTENSITY LIGHTS CAUSED THE PILOT TO MISJUDGE HIS ALTITUDE, HE THEN IMPACTED THE MEDUIM INTENSITY APPROACH LIGHT SYSTEM. THE STANCHION IMPACTED THE AIRCRAFT LEFT BOTTOM FUSELAGE JUST FORWARD OF THE LEFT WING STRUT, IT THEN IMPACTED THE LEFT LANDING GEAR ADJACENT TO FUSELAGE AND WHEEL SKIRT, IT THEN STRUCK THE LEADING EDGE OF THE RIGHT HORIZONTAL STABILIZER. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER DAMAGE, THE LEFT MAIN TIRE WHEEL SKIRT HAD ROTATED UNDERNEATH THE TIRE, THIS CAUSED THE PILOT TO COME TO A STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF 19R AND 32R DUE TO DRAGGING THE WHEEL SKIRT. AIRPORT OPERATIONS CAME OUT AND ASSISTED IN THE REMOVAL OF THE WHEEL SKIRT. THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO IT?S HANGAR UNDER ITS OWN POWER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
