## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 16, 2016, PILOT REPORTED BRAKES CHECKED FINE ON RUN-UP AND FOR THE FIRST LANDING. ON THE NEXT LANDING, HE HAD THE LEFT RUDDER TO THE FLOOR TRYING TO APPLY BRAKES. AIRCRAFT VEERED RIGHT OFF THE RUNWAY INTO THE DIRT AND GROUND LOOPED.

THE INSPECTING A&P MECHANIC REPORTS, THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED NO SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE; DAMAGE IS LIMITED TO THE LEFT WING TIP, THE LEFT LANDING GEAR, AND THE TAIL WHEEL. THE INSPECTING MECHANIC ALSO REPORTS WING SPARS ARE NOT BEND, AND THERE IS NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE MAIN LANDING GEAR ATTACHMENT.

INSPECTING A&P MECHANIC REPORTS FINDING THE BLEEDER SEAT AND THE BLEEDER SCREW WERE MISSING FROM THE LEFT SLAVE CYLINDER ALLOWING THE ESCAPE OF THE BRAKE FLUID.

PILOT/MECHANIC REPORTED BRAKE FLUID AT THE INCIDENT SITE, ANOTHER WHERE THE AIRCRAFT WAS STOPPED DURING ITS TOW, AND WHERE IT WAS PARKED. HE ALSO REPORTS THE THREADS FOR THE SCREW HOLE WERE NOT DAMAGED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
