## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

IN CRUISE FLIGHTAT ABOUT 9500 MSL THE PILOT NOTICED ROUGH RUNING OF THE ENGINE. CHT INDICATIONS FOR CYLINDERS 2, 4 AND 6 WERE NULL. OIL PRESSURE WENT TO ZERO AND THE ENGINE QUIT. THE PILOT ELECTED TO DEPLOY THE BUILT-IN AIRCRAFT PARACHUTE. AIRCRAFT AND TWO SOULS DESCENDED SAFELY TO THE GROUND AND WALKED AWAY FROM THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
