## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT RECEIVED A CLEARANCE TO TAXI FROM THE FBO RAMP ALONG TAXIWAYS A TO A1 AND HOLD SHORT FOR RUNWAY 26. AS PILOT APPROACHED A1, HE APPLIED BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN FOR THE TURN TOWARD THE RUNWAY 26 HOLD SHORT LINE AND THE RIGHT BRAKE FAILED TO ENGAGE. PILOT TRIED TO GET THE AIRPLANE TO STOP WITH ONLY THE LEFT BRAKE WHILE CONTINUING TO TRY THE RIGHT BRAKE TO SEE IF IT WOULD ENGAGE WHICH RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT VEERING TO THE LEFT. AS THE PILOT TRIED TO TURN BACK TOWARD THE MIDDLE OF THE TAXIWAY THE PROP STRUCK A TAXIWAY LIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
