## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS CLEARED TO LAND RUNWAY 23. AIRCRAFT PORPOISED ON LANDING AND STRUCK NOSE GEAR FIRST RESULTING IN BREAKING THE GEAR. AIRCRAFT WAS UNABLE TO EXIT RUNWAY UNDER ITS OWN POWER. PROPELLER BLADE TIPS WERE SLIGHTLY BENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT.

PILOT REPORTED: I APPROACHED CRG/RUNWAY 23 IN A REGULAR APPROACH. THE FLARE WAS TO HIGH THUS THE TOUCHDOWN ON THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS HEAVY, CAUSING THE NOSE GEAR TO STRIKE THE RUNWAY AND COLLAPSE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
