## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 4, 2018 AT APPROXIMATELY 1230 MOUNTAIN DAYLIGHT TIME, A ROCKWELL SABERLINER N770MD, EXPERIENCED HYDRAULIC FAILURE DURING APPROACH. THE PILOTS ACTIVATED THE EMERGENCY BRAKES AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM APPEARED TO HAVE SOME FUNCTION AND THEY STARTED TO TAXI TO THE RAMP AREA. DURING TAXING TO THE RAMP, THE AIRCRAFT LOST ALL HYDRAULIC PRESSURE AND VEERED OFF THE TAXIWAY HITTING A TAXIWAY LIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR DOOR.

THE DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE TROUBLE SHOT THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND FOUND THE HYDRAULIC SELECTOR SWITCH IN THE COCKPIT WAS INTERMITTENT. HE REPLACED THE SWITCH AND THE LANDING GEAR DOOR. RAN ALL OF THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS INCLUDING FLAPS, SPEED BRAKES AND SWUNG THE LANDING GEAR SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT ANY OTHER FAILURES. HE RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT BACK TO SERVICE AND THE AIRCRAFT HAS NOT HAD ANY OTHER HYDRAULIC FAILURES AS OF THIS DATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
