## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

08/19/18 THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED HITTING ONE OR MORE BIRDS DURING LANDING APPROXIMATELY 3000' DOWN THE RUNWAY. THE FLIGHT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT OR INJURIES. THE FLIGHT CREW DOCUMENTED THE EVENT ON LOGPAGE R493421. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE NOSE WHEEL LANDING LIGHT. MAINTENANCE REMOVED THE DAMAGE LIGHT BULB THEN PLACED THE ITEM ON CDL. DURING A SUBSEQUENT OVERNIGHT MAINTENANCE VISIT THE LANDING LIGHT WAS REPLACED AND THE CDL ITEM WAS CLEARED IN THE AMFL.

NO FURTHER ACTION REQUIRED.

THIS EVENT MEETS THE INCIDENT CRITERIA PER FAA ORDER 8020.11D.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
