## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (STUDENT PILOT) WAS THE PIC OF N5107N. HE WAS TAXIING TO RUNWAY 26 VIA TAXIWAY ALPHA. N61237 WAS HOLDING SHORT OF RUNWAY 26 ON THE FIRST SPOT (IN RELATION TO N5107N). ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ATTEMPTED TO TAXI BEHIND N61237, BUT DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH CLEARANCE. THE WING OF BOTH AIRCRAFTS MADE CONTACT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS DOING TAKEOFF AND LANDINGS AS PART OF HIS FLIGHT TRAINING (THIS WAS A SOLO FLIGHT LESSON).

## Other aircraft in the event

- N61237, Cessna 172S: no report for this aircraft; [N61237](https://openairdocs.org/aircraft/N61237) is registered now

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
