AT CRUISE WITH HOPPER EMPTY, AIRCRAFT ENGINE FAILED. PILOT USED WOBBLE PUMP AND REVIVED THE ENGINE TWICE FOR A FEW SECONDS. THEN NOT ENOUGH ALTITUDE. PILOT LANDED ON CENTENNIAL ROAD. AIRPLANE VEERED OFF INTO THE DITCH.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
