## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THAT AFTER THE FIRST LANDING AT KSET, HE DEPARTED RUNWAY 18 AND ENTERED THE DOWNWIND FOR HIS SECOND LANDING. HE HAD ONE NOTCH OF FLAPS AND HAD TO EXTEND HIS DOWNWIND FOR TRAFFIC. ON FINAL HE HAD THE POWER AND SPEED UP FOR THE EXTENDED LENGTH OF THE FINAL APPROACH, HE THOUGHT HE HAD THE GEAR DOWN IN HIS MIND, AND OVER THE RUNWAY HE DECREASED POWER AND THE GEAR HORN WENT OFF AS THE PROPELLER HIT THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
