## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ATTEMPTED A SOUTHERN DEPARTURE FROM A WATER SATURATED 2000 FT. GRASS RUNWAY. DURING DEPARTURE ROLL OUT, PILOT HAD DIFFICULTIES GAINING AIRSPEED WHILE THE LANDING GEAR TRAVELED THROUGH STANDING WATER. AS HE APPROACHED THE END OF RUNWAY, HE APPLIED 20 DEGREES OF FLAPS TO LIFT ABOVE THE APPROACHING CORNSTALKS. THE AIRCRAFT HIT THE CORNSTALKS AND CRASHED IMMEDIATELY NOSE FIRST TEARING OFF THE NOSE AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR.
