## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE CRUISING AT 2,500 FEET AND 130 KTS, A BIRD STRUCK THE LEFT WING AT THE PLEXIGLASS LENSE OF THE LAND/TAXI LIGHTS.

THE PLEXIGLASS WAS SHATTERED, AND ONE OF THE TWO LED LIGHT ASSEMBLIES HAD DISLODGED FROM ITS MOUNT.

ATC WAS INFORMED AND FLIGHT CONTINUED TO LAND AT KJYO WITHOUT FURTHER ISSUES.

AN A&P/IA COMPLETED REPAIRS AND PROVIDED A PHOTO OF THE LOGBOOK STICKER THAT DESCRIBED THE REPAIR AS FOLLOWS: FOUND THREE PULLED RIVETS ON THE LOWER HOUSING THAT MATES THE LENSE HOUSING BRACKET TO THE TAXI/LANDING LIGHT SUPPORT, AND ONE SMALL 1/2 INCH CRACK ON THE TAXI LIGHT SUPPORT HOUSING ON THE INBOARD SIDE. CRACK WAS FOUND TO BE NON-STRUCTURAL, AND STOP-DRILLED. DRILLED OUT APPLICABLE RIVETS AND INSTALLED NEW RIVETS. ALL WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN REFERENCE TO AC43.13-1B CHAPTER 4.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
