## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT ON INITIAL SOLO MADE 4 PATTERNS AND 3 FULL STOP LANDINGS ON THE GRASS BETWEEN RUNWAY 25 AND THE TAXIWAY AT GROVE FIELD (1W1). WINDS WERE LIGHT AND VARIABLE BUT SHIFTING TO FAVORING RUNWAY 07 ON THE LAST PATTERN. DURING THE LAST PART OF THE FINAL LANDING ROLL, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO HEAD LEFT AND THE STUDENT OVER CORRECTED TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT WENT TO THE RIGHT AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS MOVING SLOWLY ENOUGH THAT THE RIGHT WINGTIP DID NOT TOUCH THE GROUND BUT THE LEFT WING DID IMPACT A WEATHER STATION ADJACENT TO THE RUNWAY THAT IS MOUNTED ON A 3" PVC POLE TEARING THE FABRIC IN THE BOTTOM OF THE WING FROM LEADING EDGE TO TRAILING EDGE WITH DAMAGE TO THE LEFT AILERON.
