## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA19CA050](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA19CA050), Oct 20, 2018: Piper PA28 (N8275V), East Moriches, NY, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s delayed initiation of a go-around and his subsequent use of the improper go-around procedure, which resulted in a landing area overshoot.
