## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS CONDUCTING TEST FLIGHTS ON AN UNPAVED RUNWAY. THE PILOT TOUCHED DOWN ON MAINS AND THEN NOSE GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO VEER NOSE RIGHT AND SLIDE SIDEWAYS. THE AIRCRAFT THEN VEERED NOSE LEFT AND SLID SIDEWAYS. THE AIRCRAFT THEN AGAIN VEERED NOSE RIGHT AT A RELATIVELY SLOW SPEED, SLID SIDEWAYS AT WHICH TIME THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. AFTER THE PILOT TURNED OFF THE BATTERY MASTER, SELECTED FUEL CUTOFF/FEATHER ON THE CONDITION LEVER, AND PULLED THE FUEL SHUTOFF ?T? HANDLE, HE AND THE FLIGHT TEST ENGINEER EXITED THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
