## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA19LA024](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA19LA024), Oct 24, 2018: Beech 35 (N8319D), State College, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's mismanagement of the available fuel, which resulted in a total loss of engine power due to fuel starvation.

## Other reports on N8319D (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19920501025359I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19920501025359I), May 1, 1992: Beech J35 (N8319D), Newberry, SC. Selector lever came off in his hand when he attempted to change tanks. Forced landing. Engine quit on rollout.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
