## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON ARRIVAL , PILOT CONTACTED MBT AND STATED THAT HE WAS EXPERIENCING LANDING GEAR ELECTRICAL ISSUES. PILOT MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO MAKE A LOW PASS SO MBT PERSONNEL CAN VERIFY IF THE LANDING GEAR POSITION. MBT PERSONNEL TOLD THE PILOT THAT HIS LANDING GEAR WAS NOT DOWN AND LOCKED.

DURING THE LOW PASS, THE ENGINE WAS AT IDLE. AFTER THE PASS THE PILOT PITCHED THE AIRCRAFT UP WITHOUT INCREASING ENGINE POWER. AIRCRAFT STALLED AND IMPACTED TREE LINE SOUTH OF RUNWAY 36.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA19LA028](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA19LA028), Oct 28, 2018: Beech V35 (N5624S), Murfreesboro, TN, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain airplane control while maneuvering at low altitude in gusting wind conditions.

## Other reports on N5624S (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 20060504011499I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/20060504011499I), May 4, 2006: Beech V35 (N5624S), Murfreesboro, TN, Minor damage. (-23) Pilot induced gear up landing due to distraction of aircraft exiting the runway.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
