## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON THURSDAY, NOV 1, 2018 AT APPROXIMATELY 21:36 LOCAL TIME A BEECHCRAFT BE-33 WAS APPROACHING RUNWAY 21 AT BROOKSVILLE, FL (BKV) AND HIT A DEER WITH THE LEFT MAIN GEAR DURING LANDING. VMC CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT DAMAGED. THE PILOT INDICATED THAT 4 TO 5 DEER RAN INTO HIS PATH AND HE ATTEMPTED TO AVOID THEM BUT WAS UNABLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
