## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING AN PRE-EMPLOYMENT PREPARATION FLIGHT, A SHORT FIELD LANDING WAS ATTEMPTED. NEAR THE TOUCHDOWN POINT, THE PILOT UNDER EVALUATION (PUE) THOUGHT THE LANDING WAS UNSTABLE AND INITIATED A GO-AROUND. THE INSTRUCTOR/EVALUATOR DIRECTED THE PILOT TO CONTINIE THE LANDING DUE TO THE UPSLOPING TERRAIN POSSIBLY EXCEEDING THE AVAIABLE CLIMB RATE. THE PILOT REDUCED POWER AND CONTINUED THE LANDING. DURING THE ROLLOUT THE AIRPLANE DRIFTED RIGHT, EVENTUALLY DEPARTING THE LANDING STRIP AND ONTO A FIELD WITH SOFT TERRAIN. THE LEFT MAIN GEAR CAUGHT IN THE SOFT TERRAIN, CAUSING THE AIRPLANE TO TIP ONTO THE LEFT WING AND NOSE.
