## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 13, 2018, AT 0900 CST, A HAWKER BEECH BE-90, N737LC, REGISTERED TO EXECUTIVE AVIATION SERVICES MANAGEMENT, LLC (EV4A), EXPERIENCED SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT ENROUTE FROM SPRINGDALE AR. (SRG) TO OXFORD, MS (OUX). THE AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO RUSSELLVILLE, AR (RUE) AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. A FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED WITH FLIGHT SERVICES. AFTER A MAINTENANCE INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED, THE PILOTS YOKE COVER WAS REMOVED. FIRE AND HEAT DAMAGE TO WAFER CONNECTOR J1/J2 FOR THE AUTO PILOT TRIM WAS FOUND. FURTHER INSPECTIONS FOUND LIQUID ON AND AROUND THE CONNECTOR. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
