## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 20, 2018, AT APPROXIMATELY 08:33 LCL, A TB-20 TRINIDAD (N75TB) LANDED ON RUNWAY 8 AT PHOENIX SKY HARBOR AIRPORT (KPHX). THE AIRCRAFT HAD DEPARTED FROM PRESCOTT AIRPORT (KPRC). UPON EXITING THE RUNWAY, THE AIRPLANE OVERSHOT TAXIWAY B6 AND STRUCK A TAXIWAY LIGHT WITH THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT HE HAD BEEN INSTRUCTED TO EXIT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FROM ATC AS AN AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT WAS BEHIND HIM ON FINAL. THE PILOT SAID THAT HE COULD NOT IDENTIFY TAXIWAY SIGNS AND MARKINGS AS HE WAS BLINDED BY THE SUN. HE SAID THAT HE WAS TOO FAST EXITING THE RUNWAY.

THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED ONTO THE TAXIWAY. KPHX TOWER ASKED IF ANY DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE HAD OCCURRED. THE PILOT REPORTED HE HAD NO DAMAGE. TOWER TRANSFERRED THE PILOT TO GROUND CONTROL FOR FURTHER TAXI INSTRUCTIONS. THE AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT WAS GIVEN ATC INSTRUCTIONS TO GO-AROUND.

THE PILOT STATED THAT HE PERFORMED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE LANDING GEAR AFTER SHUTTING DOWN AND DID NOT NOTICE ANY DAMAGE.
