## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 30 DECEMBER 2018 AT APPROXMATLLY 1400 A MOONEY M20K (N231GH) WAS ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 35L WHEN THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND A GUST OF WIND CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO BECOME AIRBOURNE, THEN STRUCK THE RUNWAY NOSE GEAR FIRST, CAUSING THE NOSE GEAR AND MAIN GEAR TO COLLAPSE. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THERE WAS NO DEFECTS TO THE LANDING GEAR, EXTENSION/RETRACTION SYSTEM, OR THE DOWN LOCK.

IN A WRIITEN STATEMENT THE PILOT LATER STATED THAT THE TOUCHDOWN WAS NORMAL AND THE GEAR "JUST COLLAPSED.
