## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT LEFT AIRPORT 48D. AFTER NORMAL TAKEOFF PILOT RAISED GEAR HANDLE AND NOTICED HYDRAULIC PUMP RUNNING LONGER THAN NORMAL. PILOT PULLED THE GEAR BREAKER AND AND NOTED THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS NOT FULLY RETRACTED. THE PILOT CONTINUED FLIGHT TO FNT WITH THE GEAR PARTIALLY EXTENDED AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR USING NORMAL AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES WITH NO SUCCESS. THE LANDING GEAR MOTOR OPERATED AS INDICATED BY THE SOUND AND LIGHT ON INST PANEL BUT NO GEAR MOVEMENT WAS NOTED. MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO EXTEND GEAR FAILED AND PILOT FAILED AND PILOT MADE EMERGENCY LANDING WITH ONLTY NOSE GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. INSPECTION REVEALED NOSE LANDING GEAR DOOR ACTUATOR HYDRAULIC LINE LEAKING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN19LA059](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN19LA059), Jan 6, 2019: Cessna T210 (N1237M), Flint, MI, substantial damage. Probable cause: The failure of the nose landing gear actuator hydraulic hose, which resulted in the loss of hydraulic fluid and hydraulic system pressure and a subsequent gear-up landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
