## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 24 2019, N815PB DEPARTED ON FLOATS FROM A WATER STRIP SW OF FYV. AIRCRAFT WAS HEAVIER THAN USUAL (FULL FUEL), LESS HEADWIND THAN USUAL, WARMER TEMPERATURES THAN RECENTLY AND THE WATER RUNWAY HAS TREES ON ONE END AND A HIGH VOLTAGE POWER LINE AT THE DEPARTURE END WHICH HE ATTEMPTED TO CLEAR. AFTER DEPARTURE THE AIRMEN PULLED BACK ON THE STICK GETTING TOO SLOW BUT CLEARING THE WIRES AND STALLING JUST ON THE OTHER SIDE AND SPINNING INTO THE GROUND. AIRMEN SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES TO THE HEAD AND FINGER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA19CA177](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA19CA177), Mar 24, 2019: Champion 7EC (N815PB), Fayetteville, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's exceedance of the airplane's critical angle of attack during takeoff as he attempted to avoid power lines, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
