## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATEMENT..."I STARTED MY AERONCA SUNDAY MORNING AS ALWAYS WITH WHEELS CHOCKED, IN THE GRASS, AND THE TAIL WHEEL ANGLED 90 DEGREES TO THE FUSELAGE. THE PLANE STARTED AS NORMAL AS I NOTICED IT GOING OVER THE CHOCKS. I BRACED MYSELF AGAINST THE STRUT AS IT WAS SLOWLY MOVING FORWARD. I WAS TRYING TO CUT THE MAGS OFF. THE PLANES LEFT WING CAUGHT THE EDGE OF MY HANGER AND KIND OF WHIPLASHED AROUND KNOCKING ME TO THE RAMP. THE PLANE HIT MY HANGER DOOR STOPPING THE

ENGINE. "

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
