## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N814ST, A HAWKER 800A AIRCRAFT REPORTED A UAS 7 MILES WEST OF CRG AT APPROXIMATELY 4,500 FEET TO ATC. NO EVASIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN AND LAW ENFORCEMENT WAS NOT NOTIFIED.

THE N814ST PILOT STATED THEY PASSED THE UAS AT A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 300 TO 400 FEET, AND THAT THE UAS WAS FAIRLY LARGE, HE THOUGHT ABOUT 3 TO 4 FEET WIDE. PIC STATED THE UAS WAS RED IN COLOR. THE PILOT STATED THE DRONE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER COULD NOT BE DETERMINED DUE TO THE HIGH CLOSURE SPEED.

THE PIC OF THE DRONE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED.

DUE TO THE LACK OF INFORMATION, UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE INVESTIGATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
